Amelia Gora No one questioned King Lunalilo’s entry onto the scene because he was a sibling of the Kamehameha’s. His mother Kekauluohi/Auhea was married to Kamehameha, Kamehameha II, and she was also the stepmother of the Kamehameha’s which also meant she was the stepmother of Kauikeaouli/Kamehameha III and a former sister-in-law due to her marriage to his brother Liholiho/Kamehameha II who actually had seven wives. Liholiho/Kamehameha II died in England. He was there with two (2) of his wives: Kamamalu and Liliha.

TRUE OR FALSE: There is no one alive who has gone to alii school!

I say false for this reason: Castle and Cooke, the profiteers who formed the so called “alii” school closed it when they went into business and decided to quit “training” alii and went into the mercantile trade.

From how Lilio’ukalani describes it, the children were mistreated and starved. I say that the very existence of the “alii” school may have been indoctrination for the ultimate occupation of monarchy. Exactly what were these children being taught? English? Social graces? Was King Kamehameha the Great a product of the C&C alii school? Were the chiefs and leaders from Tahiti graduates of the alii school? Isn’t it reasonable to assume that “alii” school which did not rely on non-kanaka, taught Kingdom protocols and laws of the land separately? Does that mean “no one attended alii school?” In fact, some are still being taught this very day – outside the UH Manoa system.

Those who want to deny this – have an agenda. Denial and disrespect of the constitutional monarchy is very much like Wilcox – a kanaka who betrayed his nation and identified any alii with close ties to the crown to the mercinaries to be killed. This is not a myth. This happened. Many died, many left the islands, many changed their names.

USA and those anti-Kingdom MUST deny the monarchy because it is the lynch pin of all of the rights: the monarch is the trustee of the Crown Lands, the allodial title land patents are issued by the Kingdom. Native tenant rights are decreed by the King of the Hawaiian Islands. The world recognized the Kingdom of Hawai’i. The USA needs to the seat of monarch to remain vacant. Yet, were it not for the wisdom of the monarchs and in particular King Kamehameha III no one would be having this conversation.

I have no respect for those who claims to be cultural experts but speak words of death and division. Hatred and racism is not and never was a attribute of the Kingdom and it is a slap in the face of all those to testified in support of their nation to continue down that path. Especially when your speech tears down your own brothers and sisters, at the same time you claim you want the “best for your people.” (thank you for letting me rant – again) Negative people, condescending and arrogant people leave an aroma in my spirit that stinks. I need to sit with God and ask Him to intervene and release the negativity away from me.

Marlena Robinson IT IS TRUE Maria. I have an old photo showing the Pinkertons and the Civil War soldiers in civilian clothes with their rifles in Hawaii, proud of their Americanism whose desire was to kill Alii and be paid $500 per alii. Many descendants today have lands some other family lived on lands not legally theirs. It happen in Kauai re Makaweli. The claimant filed supposed documents to claim ownership to land. The King Kamehameha III. He looked into it and the true Lord/owner was Kaahumanu III, DAUGHTER to Kinau. The King told the claimant and addressed her status as “luna”. So we will keep things not just correcting but ensuring lands are given to its rightful owners. We cannot remain in the spider web we have been in with stockholm syndrom.

Marlena Robinson AS FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN ALII SCHOOL. My grnfa wanted me to go a ladies school in Britain to groom me. My mama said, “No two lehuas blossoms alike.” It is blood as old as the start of kingdoms that is considered for the throne. It is Ke Akua who anoints or approve the heir never human. Marlena Robinson All the Kings of Hawaii cuts deep into my heart and the tragedies and had to stiffen my lips as I had to listen to my teachers. It was painful to listen to those in charge of shaping my mind. Then I would sit asking Ke Akua why must I grieve? In my sleep, I began my new life. I was baptised with my hawaiian name. My grnpa Kaonohiokala who called me by my baptised name. He is still alive with me. I listen, learning what is coming and always comforting me and I see clear. Maria Taylor Protection and God’s covering for all of you in Hawai’i and may God provide long overdue justice and restoration to you all so you may live with health, peace and safety. Thomas Ah Yee The time I have spent no Jack and talked about the Hawaiian, never at anytime has he ever claim the title of King or even mentioned that he meets the criteria of being the King under the Hawaiian Kingdom Protocol.

Marlena Robinson It is ok Nadine. We quietly absorb your pain and is relieved by our Lord who invites us to go to him and he will refresh us. While I am no bible thumper, I am always hearing Alii Ieasu in my heart. He knows our limits as we are on earth. Our added strength comes from him and our kupunas past who are with us. The load we bear is light bc we do not bear it alone. The yoke we have as children would be heavy but our Alii makes it light by helping us. Why we may malama our beloved brothers and sisters as you my sister. Why we are you and you are us. mahalo

Maria Taylor The Queen abdicated her authority to the United States temporarily and until her position was restored. She is no longer here to have it restored to her, but a successor may be elected pursuant to the Kingdom Constitution. At that time, technically, legally, equitably, the control should be returned to the Kingdom of Hawai’i. I don’t understand how people can deny this. To me, it seems clear – to me it would be the fastest and easiest way out of the mess. The reason why the current “kings/queens” cannot do this is that the protocol has not been followed from what I understand. The protocol, per Jack, is to begin with the communities and representatives. Doesn’t have to take long, doesn’t have to be hard.

Maria Taylor I’m glad the C&C Royal School is no longer. In the Kingdom, the protocols should be taught by kanaka maoli. If, after the successful claim of assets by the monarch, the people want to vote for something else, power to them. Seems really clear to me.

But as was with the former Monarchs, today whatever path is taken as the people CHOOSE, they must know, they will no longer have peace amid themselves as was seen when Hawaii was ruled by the people, for the people til the surviving chiefs saw the need to restore the island from the madness of power. The chiefs went to Oahu to get Huanuikalalailai to return to Hawaii and rule that country. He did and the island returned to sober. Grtgqt grnpa Hua was a good Government bc he had people skills which benefitted all, chiefs and maka’ainana. His remains lies on Maui. mahalo
